November through April : Open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Fridays open 10 AM – 7 PM on the first Friday of each month.
Holiday hours: The museum is closed on January 1, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Call ahead if you plan to visit on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve as we usually close early on those days.

A $30 CulturePass allows you to visit each of the state museums and historic sites once during a 12-month period.

New Mexico residents are admitted free 5 – 7 p.m on the first Friday of every month from November through April and every Friday 5 – 7 p.m. May through October, with ID.
The museum welcomes groups for docent-led group tours. Reservations must be made with three weeks advance notice. Please include three optional dates, times, age group and number of visitors.
Schools and other groups may schedule a tour of the museum that is designed for them and that can include a docent guide. There is no charge for school group visits to the museum (including all chaperones).
Discounted rates are available for tour groups who wish to see only the courtyard and St. Francis Auditorium.

THE GENERAL PUBLIC:
Tours are offered Tuesday-Sunday at 2PM as well as 10:30AM on Wedneday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tours include highlights of the building and current exhibitions.

ART WALKING TOURS:
Visitors tour the exhibits at the NMMOA
The museum offers art walking tours of Santa Fe from April – November (weather permitting). Guided by one of our docents, the tours highlight the art and architectural history of downtown Santa Fe. Tours leave at 10:00 a.m. on Mondays from the museum gift shop steps. From June-August, we also offer tours on Fridays at 10 a.m. Cost: $10 per person, children 18 and under free. Proceeds support education programs at the New Mexico Museum of Art. Call the front desk to confirm availability: 505-476-5063.
